    I know dr atkins said calories dont need to be counted. But what is the limit / minimum. Some days I am not hungry at ALL. Some days I just feel like eating and eating.. Helppzz

      Here is a good site to find out what your Basal Metabolic Rate is:


      You don't want to consistently eat below your BMR; otherwise, you can go into starvation mode where your body refuses to lose weight and hangs on to any fat it can while shutting down your metabolism to conserve energy. You have to eat to lose weight.

        Good for you ont he days you are not hungry feed your small hunger with nutrient dense foods containing some carbs some fats and some carbs. On days you could eat and eat feed your hunger with meals not as dense cause you need more to feed hunger on hungry days.

        That isd what Atkins weight loss is all about. there isn't a set minimum nor a set maximum as long as you don't decide an abetraty caloric number will be your limit. if you do it that way then you need to average above your BMR.

        a few days below your BMR will not evoke stavation mode.
