Omgggggg I FIT INTO SIZE 0 JEANS!!!!!

WOW can't believe it.. I had bought these REALLY REALLY nice size 0 jeans, just waitinnggg to be able to fit into them... and today I WORE them. I couldn't believveeee it! and i got soo many compliments (on the jeans Lol) but u are what u wear I am so happy! Atkins works everyone..! for any newbie or whoever needed that incentive.

I am only on my 15th day. I cheated, i fell of the wagon several times, i got off track. But climbed right back on. I believe Atkins is a lifestyle not just a weight loss program. ANd I am glad that I lost some of the weight I wanted to with it, But I still have some stomach and arm to get rid off... And I want to continue with Atkins. So don't judge and say u were skinny to begin with ... why did u go on a diet.. ur too young.. etc etc. i did this for my self and I am so glad i did..

apart from losing weight, i learnt sooo much. i didn't even know how the body's metabolism worked before this. i learnt about food labels, and what i really put into my body. i learnt abt the role of carbs, fats proteins, the importance of anything that i eat and so much more.. and for me, if nothing else, that wud be an accomplishment.

im moving on to slowly adding more starchy vegetables and the 5 g carb increment. thanks for always being here... i gonna be stickin arnd so dont say bye! Lol

Congratulations, Kanita on shrinking into your size 0 jeans At a UK size 16 myself I can't even imagine how tiny those jeans must be
You really seem to have got a good handle on how Atkins is not just a weightloss programme but a healthy way of eating, and so it is suitable for people of all sizes (not just us heavyweights) to follow.

I am glad you are moving on to OWL, but make sure you check out the stickies in the OWL forum so you add the food groups in the correct order - the first level (we call them 'rungs') is 5 net carbs more of the induction-legal veggies - starchy ones come further up the OWL ladder.

ya know Rich, I tried to research that answer online, and I could only come up with an assumption. I couldn't find a size zero converted, but I do know what it is. We start at 0 , then 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 etc. Well in euro, a 3/4 converts to a 6, and 5/6 converts to a 7 and so forth. It seems you folks are one to two sizes ahead.
Now, that DOES have me thinking..MAYBE, just MAYBE, I am NOT so big after all, and every pair of pants I have in the closet are all euro jeans.

The smallest size I know of in the UK for a woman is 6. But I may be missing something. After all, I dont ever buy ladies clothing........

Except for the occasional bit of lingerie as presents.

I found this page which has US size 4 as UK size 10, but the larger sizes seem to be about 2 numbers different. Weird!

Oh Iam not sure at all. I am tlaking about jeans. I dont know if dress and jean sizes vary or if they are similar... Through all the excitement I screwed up a bit *oops* but I'm continuing again from today hehehe thanks for all the nice words BTW Rich, share please! Lol.

Hey Rich, I used to work for an american clothing store, GAP, and a size 0 equaled to a UK 4.... approx 24 inch waist.
