My day 1 is about to end so far I'm doing great. However, I am having slight bowel problem. Could this be from not eating enough fat or protein? I love my carbs, but I want this sooo bad....I was just curious.....

It's not clear what you mean by 'a slight bowel problem'. Some folks report really loose stools in the beginning and it can have something to do with the increased water intake and change in diet but it usually settles down. Some folks will get constipated after a week or two.
Your best defence is to continue to drink water, and to make sure you are choosing veggies high in fiber. Also consider taking a supplement in the form of flax or psyllium.

my husband was actually stopped up for the first few days, but he is now in our world too. From what I read, it is one of the side effects from the induction flu. It is day 7 for me, and I am starting to become more regular now. I actually took the pepto bismol pills for about 3 days in a row because I had nausea as well. It helped, and it didn't block me like immodium A.D. can do.
