    Hi
this is day 3 of serious induction,
would have been day 6 if i didn't get my TOM and I am on blood thinners and apparently my level was too high and I was bleeding to heavy and i had to eat a lot of spinach to help the clotting
and the only reason i am even mentioning the above is my question
I think i am going thru withdrawal
but i feel OK in the AM before i eat, if the space from meal to meal is long enough i feel OK till i eat, but once i eat i am really nauseous and feel sick, and my stomach is not well, it doesn't matter what i eat,
Right now I am cooking a London boil in a crock pot and the smell is making me sick.
whats going on ? Did this happen to others>?>
Is this induction? Is this TOM related? Both??
Will it end, I know I am not eating enough
I have lost 7 lbs but some is water from being bloated, I am sure

    thank you for reading this

    Re: question

I get queasy stomach sometimes, but the smell of food cooking never bothers me. Hopefully, someone will come along real soon and be able to tell you more than I can. Hope you feel better soon.

      Re: question

Well there is such as thing called "Induction Flu". It is basically a general feeling of "ugh" but you can feel pretty sick, it all depends. You can sometimes feel badly as your body adjusts to a different way of eating, your foods are different, you are probably drinking a lot more water, you're using up your glucose stores, and starting to burn fat for fuel. We store toxins and hormones, etc in our fat cells along with the fat and for some people when you start releasing the fat, those toxins may make you feel sick as your kidneys and liver flush them from your body.

For most people these feelings only last a few days. Try something a little lighter on your stomach if you're queasy, like sugar-free jello or whipped cream.

Sometimes (like today) nothing really sounds good at all so I just end up drinking more liquids and eating less.

You'll feel better soon, but you need to be careful if you have issues with blood thinners, or any medications. If you feel worse, you should meet with your doctor, you may need to adjust your medications.....

      Good Luck.

        Re: question

Another thing....if you are used to drinking a lot of caffeine and aren't having any or much less, you can get very severe headaches (and possibly nausea)...

If this is the case, you want to probably ease off of caffeine instead of going cold turkey.....although some people prefer cold turkey because after a few days and some advil, they feel great..... its up to you
