  • wish me luck, please....

I am on day 10 and I went ahead and weighed because we are going out of town today-I am down about 4 pounds, and inch in my waist and 3 inches in bust (sorry DH!!)
I'm a bit nervous because we are going to Disneyworld today until Tuesday-I just hope their are plenty of choices out there. I'm not worried about cheating (I'm stubborn that way) I just don't want to starve!!! Does anyone have any suggestions???
Thanks and good luck to everyone

Congrats on that 4 pounds and those inches! You're doing great. I've never been to Disney World so I can't help you there. I'm sure you'll have choices though.

Congrats also on 4 months smoke-free!

There have been postings in the past from people who managed to stay cheatfree at Disneyworld (as well as those from people who didnt) so it is possible if you plan your eating.
Restaurants there will no doubt have grilled meat/chicken and induction-allowed vegetables available so take your list of allowed foods and make sure you choose wisely.
Maybe make sure you take a coolbag with snacks for if you get close to the 6-hour deadline, so you can eat a little something legal and not give in to carby food. Take water too so you dont get dehydrated.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

4 pounds in 10 days is great!

I would suggest bringing a cooler with food/snacks for you and the kids (you can bring atkins-friendly and it will be cheaper than buying snacks for kids there) hardboiled eggs, string cheese, pepperoni, sandwhich meat, beef jerky, tuna salad, canned chicken with mayo) Also there will probably be salads you can buy or burgers without the bun.

        Good luck and have fun!

if you are outside the park there are many of those all you can eat places andyou can find great low carb breakfast stuff there and dinners too.
Inside the park they have turkey legs burgers you could get salad back in 2002 when I was there. just bevery picky and quizz your waiter about exactly what is in each dish andcan you leave out not on yourphase foods.

have fun and drink lots of water. We knowyou are going to get lots of exercise walking all over the place
