    imitation crab meat is a strange breed of fish, wheat gluten and sugar, so no it's not ok. Real crab is great though.

      Generally it's very high carb. Stick to the expensive real crab stuff; it's worth your while.

        i bought real crabs at walmart and they even steamed them for me. besides, real crab is better

          yeah i used to eat the imitation stuff a lot. (before atkins) just because it was cheap and decently good. but the real stuff is way better and sometimes you can find yourself a good deal.

            I was also amazed at the carb count in the immitation stuff. Really to bad to.
