  • Water does make a diffrence

I have been on induction for 7 days and since day one i have drank at least 1 gallon if not more of water.Yes I pee a lot ...lol...but,in the last few days I have noticed not only that it is good for my weight loss but my skin feels better. My skin is a lot more softer maybe it is crazy but I am asuming this is a result of the water intake I have consumed.Unless it is from not putting all that sugar and bread into my body.Any input on this...?

My routine used to be a pot of coffee in the mornings and about 6 cokes during the day with water in between.Today I am trying to wean myself off the coffee by having 1 cup in the AM.I use splenda and a tiny bit of non dairy creamer I KNOW I KNOW that is a NO NO but I am trying to wean myself off slowly and tommrorow i am not going to have the morning cup anymore.

These goals maybe pushing it but I am gonna give it my all.

Have you tried heavy cream in your coffee. I think it is better than non dairy creamer. Try it.

Yes, water is GREAT for your skin! Good job on the water! I drink about a gallon a day too.

Excellent job on the coffee too! I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but when I do have a cup, I use decaf with splenda and real cream. It's sooooo much better than non dairy creamer!

This whole diet is great for your skin. Sugars and carbs cause inflammation of the skin, resulting in redness and puffiness. Water hydrates your skin also. Imagine a plump grape, then imagine all the water taken out...a raisin!! Who wants to look like that?

ok so its not just me imagining the soft feel of my skin. And usually since I moved to Ohio in the winter my skin itches like crazy (no humidity like the south) well now i have super soft skin. Its great!

Another thing, yesterday morning my girlfriend told me my breathe stank and told me to go brush my teeth...lol..I was actually excited to hear I had stinky breathe. That is a good thing right...?...lol... she just thought I was weird.

Okay, Murphys Law says If I post what I'm about to post, I am going to jinx myself...but I am so close to a year, screw it!

I got pregnant February 2nd of last year. I began drinking a TON of water immediately after I found out. Did you know, that I have not been sick ONE time? I had never drank so much water before, but it was healthy for me and the baby, so I did. I haven't even had a cold! I made it almost an entire year without being sick..and this is from someone who used to get sick with sinus congestion, and colds that lasted weeks. I honestly believe I owe it all to water because before beginning Atkins just recently, my diet itself had not changed.

            So, drink it up!
            I did it!!
