  • I so need help from a veteran

I need some info. I am experiencing some awful nausea! I think it is related to Atkins some how. This is day 8 of induction for me. I have lost 7 lbs in the past week, which is going great, but this is the second day I have felt ill, ,mostly in the morning. No, I am not pregnant, but it sure feels like morning sickness. Please respond quickly, is there something I can do to aleviate this? Could I be doing something wrong?????

Have you read the sticky about induction 'flu'?
    http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ead.php?t=6758

does it feel like Elleth is describing how you feel?

If so then it will pass if you carry on eating your 'by the book' Atkins induction foods and drink plenty of water.

If it is induction 'flu' it means you are doing things correctly - well done
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Post a menu for us. Maybe you're not eating enough.

I guess that does describe how I feel. I have been having a hard time, but if it will pass if I stay the course, then stay I will. I feel some better in the afternoons though. Maybe I should eat an evening snack?? Would that help the morning sickies??

I posted a menu on the "review my menu" board at someone's request. Please look it over and give me some tips. I really feel yucky.

Your menu looks good. I don't know what could be causing you to be nauseous. I have found, though, that if you are used to doing low/no fat and then you do this WOL, your body could be trying to get used to you eating fat.

If it's real bad, you may want to see your doctor. I felt awful when I had induction flu, but I don't recall being nauseous.

I couldn't find your menu, but often times when I eat a big hunk of meat or just a lot of protein all at once it can cause me to feel nauseaus. Maybe this is what's happening?
