Re: Fitday
I read somewhere that you should count 1 oz as 1 gram of carbs no matter what the package reads....But somebody help!!!!! I don't remember who said it....but that's what I do!

Re: Fitday
That's right!
According to labeling laws anything that is .49 grams of carb or less can be labeled as having zero carbs. Anything .5-.99 grams can be labeled as having <1 gram.
If it's not pure fat or pure protein, it has a carb count.
To be safe, each serving of cheese should be counted as 1 gram

Re: Fitday
I just read about the 0 carb thing the other day and I remember who said it, Not2late!! All is says is don't count the first serving as a carb, but if you go to two servings, then it will be one carb total for the two servings and so on and so forth. I hope that makes sense, it made sense to me when I read it.

Re: Fitday
From DANDR 2002 Allowed foods list footnotes*All cheeses have some carbohydrate content. The quantity you eat should be governed by that knowledge. The rule of thumb is to count 1 ounce of cheese as equivalent to 1 gram of carbohydrate.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
