  • Aww nooo

ive been doing so well on my first week of induction, not cheated at all and i had a lovely breakfast made by my boyfriend this morning - scrambled eggs and bacon. Only it just dawned on me nearly 8 hours later if he used milk with the eggs and he did i had told him previously that i wasnt allowed it but he said he forgot and i really wana cry now.. im carrying on regardless but does anyone know exactly what that will have done? hmmmf from now on im making everything myself regardless!

Oh gosh, don't worry about accidentally eating a little milk in your eggs!!
We all have little 'oops' that happen.....I've eaten the odd hidden crouton in the caesar salad...stuff like that...it's no biggie and not worth the panic.

Odds are you probably took in..what..? about a TBS or two of milk maybe? It's a blip in the road, just carry on, learn from it...give him a good lecture..lol...and continue as usual.

It is so annoying when that happens, isnt it.

As moochie said, just carry on as if it hadn't but remember to always check with whoever cooked the food if there is any chance they might have added their own 'special' ingredient!!

I surprised the staff at a 'Little Chef' restaurant today by asking the waiter to ask the chef if she would be using real eggs in shells or a premade omelette mix. When the chef assured me it would be a 'proper omelette mix' (whatever that means!) I changed the order to plain old griddled eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

post the induction wallet card in the kitchen so he can check and see before he adds the stuff. if you are not having any cravings by now you have survived just fine.

                lol...accidentally ate an oreo blizzard...

Scotsgirly...by all means don't stop your bf from cooking for you!!! Good lord, that's something you want to encourage!! That's a great idea to post that list on the fridge for him so he has a better idea of things too.
                But omg...let the boy cook...
