  • First Time Starting

Ok, I've read the only book I could get my hands on over the weekend (the 2 week induction one), I've gone out shopping, I've emptied the cabinets of all things not allowed, I've gone shopping, I've made things to take to work for breakfast and lunch tomorrow, and even planned what I will make for dinner tomorrow night and I've weighted and measured myself to know where I'm starting. I've read so many posts on here that my head is spinning with information, and tomorrow if I get the chance to get to the book store I will be looking for the 2002 book that I have seen mentioned so many times here. To everyone that has posted and encouraged on this BB, Thank you. I really feel that I can give this a good shot, and will check into the BB on a daily basis to keep the I can do this feeling going strong.

Welcome & good luck on staring this WOE!!! You've done the right steps so far. Don't forget to keep a food log, such as fitday.com to help you keep track. Look forward to watching you shrink!

      Welcome to our ADBB family
With all your careful preparation it looks as if you are off to a flying start
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Trying to eat only the stuff your supposed to I found a little difficult during the first week (most especially since everyone else in the house has tons and tons of carb loaded crap) but I discovered it takes less and less actually thought the more you do it. I guess you get used to the changes.

And yes, read all around this board, it's been a great inspiration to me!

            Re: First Time Starting

Thanks everyone! So far so good today. I've started using the fitday.com to keep track of things in hopes of staying on track. The water isn't a problem as I drink more than that each day already.
