  • 2nd week !!!

    Im on my second week...I think im not so obsessed now with how much weight im going to loose im still impatient though and would like to see a change this week at least...!!!

    Im not so hungry anymore but im still really tired...!!! anyone have any ideas on why im so tired..

    You know, im on day 10 right now, and im still tired during the afternoons. I dont really mind that much, as a nap is always nice, but it is odd that i get so sleepy. However, grats on entering the second week. It seems to me that things just keep getting better the further you dive in, so maybe your tiredness will drop in a few days or so. Hopefully a veteran posts so we can have some expert advice

        There are a few people who experience fatigue or light-headedness during their first week......
        I usually advise . . . .to slow down their weightloss . . . add another helping of vegetables to their evening meal . . . after the feelings abate go back to the lower level of carb intake
        As I am a very slow typist I have only quoted bits and pieces of what Dr Atkins said here - so read the whole topic!!

        F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )
