    But how do you feel?

Have you got more energy or less? Did you take measurements before you began?

AS you have a total of 25 pounds to goal I would move on to OWL after your 14 days are up and start to introduce more veggies. You didnt start with all that 'water weight' the heavyweights do, so your losses will be slower.

As we are told to expect a loss of 5%-10% on our first 14 days induction, a scale drop of 1.25 pounds on Saturday would be within the lower percentile loss.

Betty, one of our former admins lost nothing on induction either but reached goal by following all four phases of Atkins, with her weightloss starting once she moved to OWL.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

as you only have 25 lbs in total to loose, I am thinking that you are not severly metabolically resistant. Usually those peopel have a stack of weight to lose.

Have you lost any weight on induction ?

A stall is only classified a stall if you havent lost any weight or inches for 6 weeks or more.

Stick to it, you will be fine. Honestly!

A year ago to about now, I was getting dead excited as I was about to fly off for my first trip to Oz. It was fantastic, and I so want to go back one day.

                    (sorry for going O/T)

                      Caution about TOM:

Many women retain water during their TOMs. Some women retain enough water that they "gain" weight during their TOMs. When TOM is over, the water weight goes away too. So, my advice is to re-weigh and measure a couple of days after TOM and see what happens.

My own experience with TOM is that I begin to retain water a few days before it starts. I "gain" about 3-5 pounds of water weight during my TOM and begin to lose that water weight once my TOM is over.

Your body needs to get over the shock of going from that giant indian meal to induction menus as well as coping with TOM!!

                              Re: nothing happening

I'm surprized nobody clicked on your fitday in your siggy to tell you you have the proteins too high and the fats too low along with too much veggies for the last 3 days, and too much cream for induction. Are you using DR ATKINS NEW DIET REVOLUTION 2002 EDITION? there is a limit of 3 cups of veggies from the list and cream is less then you are having along with a note that it might interfer with weight loss and if it does not to use it. 1/4 of a cup a day is too much. on your pie graph the fats should cover 2/3s of it. Why did you change 3 days ago to lower fat higher protein?

Another thing you need to check on is are you feeding just your hunger and stopping at each meal or are you eating it cause the food is on your plate? Dr Atkins talks about that in DANDR too. feed your hunger at the time youa re eating and stop even if you got carbs in your budget, room in your belly or food left on the plate. Dr Atkins recommends learning your hunger by only eating 1/2 the food on the plate and stopping. if you get hunger again later you can eat the rest.

What are you doing for exercise? there isn't any listed
                              by the book atkinseer
