  • Another two Pounds lost! but foot aches!!

Well today marks the fourth day that I've been on The diet ,and I have lost another two pounds, So in all I have lost a total of 4 pounds in 4 days! I know it may be water weight, but any weight loss in good weight lost!! They call this the Induction whoosh! but I was doing well with my excersizing and then it happened, I heard a weird noise come from my foot while on the treadmill at an incline of 15, I thought to myself No pain no gain, No hurt No minnie skirt! So I kept excersizing, today my foot aches so bad and I can hardly walk on it Now I cant excersize at all I'm mad it feels like a wall is in my way now until I get my foot back in order, it truly sucks What should I do?

Well, if the pain continues you need to go to your doctor. Are you walking or jogging? Anytime you feel actually PAIN, you need to stop or slow down. An incline of 15 is pretty challenging and perhaps it was a little too much too fast? Take a day to rest it but if you are feeling PAIN and not just soreness you need to get it checked out.

Remember that you should never increase your distance more than 5-10% a week

You need to get to a doc and get it checked out. Is it swollen at all?? It might be nothing, but you say you heard a noise...so better safe than sorry. My ankle cracks sometimes while jogging....but that's normal for me. You may be pushing yourself a bit hard.....no pain no gain isn't the best montra sometimes. I must admit though...I drive the Physical Therapist CRAZY cause I keep saying that....along with "Pain is weakness leaving the body" LOL But like I said...I know my body...and when I need to stop and when I need to push.

Hey congrats on the loss!!! I have a foot problem as well....so I can't push as hard as I want to, but hey...it's not a race. It's a life long change....so I just do what I can. Adapt and overcome. Good luck
