I haven't had those dreams yet. Though I did dream that I went somewhere and forgot to pack my lunch and couldn't find anything Atkins friendly to eat. Even in my dream I chose to not eat instead of eating garbage. I was disappointed when I woke up, telling my hubby that I can't even cheat in my dreams. lol

i usually have those dreams twice a month. It'll be some huge buffet where im stuffing my face, all the while feeling guilty because i know im cheating. Then i'll wake up and have to convince myself it was only a nightmare!!

Yes, it is very very common. It happened to me for at least 3 or 4 months after starting. Not every night for that time, but it went off and on for quite a while. Its the same when giving up any addiction.

I rememeber having the exact same experiences when I gave up smoking.

Sometimes they are scaringly realistic arent they?

Yeah, I have them every couple of weeks... Last two were about a case of donuts and an entire pizza... the strange thing about them is that I eat this horrible food and THEN I remember, "Oh noooo! I'm on the Atkins diet." Peculiar.
No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

I have dreamed of eating a whole container of ice cream..so realistic that when I awoke I felt guilty and was unsure for a little bit if I had actually done it or not...Shows that I used to be more than capable of eating an entire container of ice cream

For some reason, when I have those dreams it's like my time to cheat!!!!!!!!!!!and not feel guilty.....it's that weird?

I can remember another thread just like this a couple of weeks ago, and I posted about a dream of eating a rosted pretzel... Yes, I think this is very common during the early stages of this WOL. Scary, eh?
