  • Day 13....

Well, tomorrow will be day 14 and I have lost a total of 9 pounds. I was hoping for much more, but I am happy to see those 9 gone. I have given myself a few goals and I'm going to stick with Induction longer in hopes to lose more. I am also going to drink a water (16.9 oz) an hour in hopes that helps just as well.
I did have a half a roll this weekend at an Italian restaurant and felt pretty guilty, but decided not to beat myself up and just keep going.....

    9 pounds is terrific!

Don't be discouraged. 9 pounds is alot! If you don't think it is, then the next time you are in a supermarket, weigh out 9 pounds of potatoes, feel how heavy it it and know that is the amount of weight gone from your body.

Re-read Chapters 12 and 13 of DANDR 2002 and look up your degree of metabolic resistance to weight loss in the charts.

If you haven't added exercise to your Atkins diet, do so now. And if you haven't taken measurements of yourself (chest, waist, etc.) do that now too. The loss of inches is generally a better indicator of fat loss than the loss of pounds.

Nine pounds is fantastic. Well done. Good for you for getting right back on the wagon too.
