  • DAY Fourteen

Well I made it with no cheating, except eating a salad at Applebees, thinking it was lowcarb and then finding out they pump sugar into the dressing!!! That was on day 5 and I was about to cry. However, even with the Applebees incident I still lost 10 lbs. I was hoping for more but my daughter had the rodo virus all last week, so I did not get much exercise. I am very happy with my results and have decided to stay in induction a little longer. I have turned a friend of mine onto the diet as well. He has seen how much I have lost and was very impressed. Today is his first day!!! I just wanted to thank you all for your support and wonderful replies

    Re: DAY Fourteen

10 pounds is excellent! Re-read Chapters 12 and 13 of DANDR 2002 and you'll see how well you did.

If you still don't think 10 pounds is alot, go to the supermarket and lift up a 10 pound bag of flour to feel how much weight you lost.

Be sure to measure yourself too, as Dr. Atkins recommended. Because the loss of inches is more representative of the loss of fat than pounds lost.

        Congratulations on your loss
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Well done, well done. Let nothing stop you now. Keep right on Atkineering!

One comment - I'd like to point out that you got on the scale and even though you lost an amazing amount of weight, ego still thought it wasn't enough.

          Stay away from the scale.

If you stay clean you will continue to go down sizes.
