Hi everyone, I AM A CARBOHYDRATE ADDICT
I am about to re-embark on the Atkins journey. In 2004 I lost 45 pounds on Atkins, but, like many others I fell off the wagon. I have gained it all back along with 6 more additional. I am starting my induction on March 1. In my opinion, many times that diets fail it is beacause you were not mentally prepared to go on the diet in the first place. I have reread the ADNDR book and am emptying my home of "bad" foods. I am also purchasing acceptible foods. That way I will be able to start the withdrawal with a home, mind, and body that are ready for the change! I have joined this bulletin board so that when and while I am losing my weight I will have like minded people to converse with during the "tough" times! Support is soooooo important. Wish me well on the beginning of my new life. I am looking forward to feeling healthy, looking good, and most of all knowing that I did something really good for myself.

What would we do without it?
