  • Carb/Fiber Question

    I am freaking a bit here!!! I had one cup Jicama and 2 poached eggs for breakfast, 2 cups mixed greens salad with Tuna and 3 tablespoons Bleu Cheese Dressing for lunch and according to Fitday, I have had 31 grams of Carbs, and 15 grams Fiber. I really hope this means I have only had 16 grams carbs!! This seems like so much!!!! I wanted to get some different veggies into my diet, but now I feel like I have messed my Induction up!!!! Will I still be in Ketosis??? What should I do?!?!?
    What would we do without it?



    Mini-goal- 149 by June 1st. I can do it!!!

    Frankenfoods- Low Carb Shakes, Bars, Candies.
    Sugar Alcohols= Weight loss stalls and cravings!!
    These are BAD for us!!!!

    We count net carbs on Atkins, not total carbs.

    Net carbs = total carbs -fiber grams -(sugar alcohols for those who can tolerate them)

    So, you are still below the 20 net carb Induction Limit.

            good for you if you look at the bottom of your carbohydrates column on fitday were you list your foods that number is the net carbs yours should say 16
            by the book atkinseer

              And if you're following the rules of induction (eating those three cups of veggies from the acceptable food lists) there is no way you'll be over 20g of net carbs!
