After being on the program for 6 days, I've lost 10 pounds! WOO HOO! I'm stoked. And it wasn't even hard. Different... but not hard. As of Friday, the friend I've been doing this with and I had lost 17 pounds combined. We promised not to weigh again until Monday, but I know I've rounded out my 8 into 10. I have a lot of time to just stare at myself in the mirror (which I love), so I'm positive. This is amazing, guys! We did, however, get berated by an old man in the bar last night that was trying to buy us Jaegerbombs. We politely said no thanks, then he got all loud about it and I told him it was because it had carbs in it. To which he went on a 20 minute lecture (I kid you not) about how whatever we were doing to lose weight wasn't because of carbs and how we're going to have heart attacks when we were 45 and blah blah blah. Somehow I think if I let myself weigh as much as I used to until I was 45, I'd be more likely to have a heart attack! It just shows that people are idiots. I finally made him agree to disagree, and as part of that agreement, there was to be no more talk of health! I'm just so proud we've lost weight (and will continue on the plan) and that we held our ground last night! Jaegerbombs are so yummy... but being skinny is yummier.
