  • Day 4: Results Already!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know that here we are at day 4 of my induction and things are still going well. I have been having a lot of chicken, steak, eggs, tuna fish, haddock, pork, etc. I have had moderate amounts of Cheese, Vegtables, and Pepperoni. I have also stayed away from candy, fruit, nutrition bars, nutrition shakes (even atkins brand), etc. Basically, sticking to a good clean induction. I won't lie. I do enjoy Fruit 2 0's but they are made with splenda, so I don't feel that I am betraying my induction. Besides, it's not like I drink a six pack of them a day.

Anyway, I wanted to let you all know that I have already seen some results. I am feeling much better and much more energetic. Also, I went to put my leather jacket on today (which was starting to get a bit snug before atkins) and it fit so comfortably. It was unbelievable. It was as if I had bought a new one a size up. But I didn't. It was my good ol' leather jacket that once didn't fit so well and now it does. Yes!

Anyway, I won't take up too much time rambling. Just wanted to let you all know that I am still hanging in there, and making some progress. Thank you for listening.

Good job man! I think I am progressing too, but I am usually addicted to the scale so I am not weighing until tuesday, my 7th day.

You are doing great and congrats for noticing all the right things.

You just keep eating all that healthy food and staying full and you won't want to cheat. Prepare yourself for some amazing results. You will go down sizes even if the scale doesn't move an inch.

As for that diet soda, its better to leave it alone during induction but if you have to drink it make sure you get plenty of water too.

I have a vow that if I drink a diet soda, I will to drink another full glass of water at the same time as well.

          Thanks for sharing your success.

              Re: Day 4: Results Already!

Thanks everyone. Yeah it feels fantastic! It's funny, because I ended up finally doing this because I my stuff was starting to fit a little too snug, and I refused to go up another size. I could not believe that a mere 4 days later I was able to fit comfortably in to something that was tight and uncomfortable a week ago. Even my jeans a re a little looser, although I won't be satisfied with that until I am able to move down from a 40 to a 38. So, it's going well and I'm eating awesome stuff! Fortunately, my addiction really wasn't so much with sweets. It was with things like Pizza, Bagles, Breads, Fries, etc. However, I am wondering if I was really addicted to these things or it I ate them out of convience...becasue I really have not missed them or craved them.

tabekat - Yeah, I have decided to try to stay away from any soda's for induction. If I feel like I want something sweet, I just pop open a fruit 2 0. I have been thinking of trying the Diet Rite "Zero" Red Raspberry, which is made with splenda, not aspartame. But I am going to try to hold off until after induction.

Tonight, I am trying the Mock Danish. I am looking forward to that!
