  • Starting Induction

HI everybody. My name is Dreama. ANd im starting my induction tomorrow! Yay for me.
Im 19 and i go to college. I had took off a year because of finances and that year off it kinda ruined the progress i made from atkins when i was in HS. So i basically gained some of the weight back. I really felt bad about it Sooo. Ive decided to start it up again.
I dont have my measure ments down yet but i think theyre like -40-37-42
Meh, i dont know. But ive been working out lately but decided to take the extra step and atkinize it. lol.

But wish me luck...Oh and on induction you cant have wheat bread can you?

    Hi Dreama
    Welcome to our ADBB family!
Do you have a copy of Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution 2002? In it Dr Atkins lists all the things you are allowed to eat on induction - and as you guessed anything with wheat in is not allowed!
Maybe you need to read the chapter on induction again just to make sure you havent forgotten or misremembered anything?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Hi and welcome. I agree, you need to get the book. It will be your best tool. Until then, familiarize yourself with the induction stickies. It's awesome that you're working out. And you're right. No bread of any kind on induction.

Yea i have the book. Its fallin apart but i have it lol. Cuz when i was in HS me and my mom did a diet. it wsa liek atkins but not really. Like i could eat bread but only whole wheat bread but like only once a day for like breakfast. But that worked to. By the end of it i had dropped like 3 pants sizes. But i also played sports so that helped to.

welcome to ADBB and to Atkins. checkout our exercise challenges and sign up for some added motivation and support with your exercise part of the plan. Buy the book and read it cover to cover and you will kinow why we say do what we do say when we answer questions new folk have. It makes it a lot easier for you to succeed if you know before you even buy something if it is legal instead of finding out after you east it like so many folk with out the book do. you can find it rather cheaply in a used book store or online at AMAzon or in any discout store like walmoart
