  • Day 3 Its pretty ok

Last night was the hardest. SO today i felt better. Only thing about today was i felt really weak this morning. But as soon as i ate something i felt ok. I was out the house much of the day so i didnt have time to really dwell on not gettin food.

I hope its ok that i at sugar free jello. Its 0 carbs and 10 calories.
Is that ok? I sure hope so cuz the jello tasted good it was a lil single serve cup. So it wasnt ALOT ALOT...it was a good serving.

    hello ladii
well you'll get differing views here on sweeteners such as splenda. You are allowed up to 3 servings a day on induction (someone correct me please if im wrong!). There are those who say its best to forego sweets all together. which really isn't a bad idea because for some people even the sugar free sweeteners will stall weight loss or cause you to crave other sweet things that aren't legal.
but i guess i am of the mind that if you just have to have something or you're going to dive into something really bad for you, check out some of the legal treats here on the recipe threads. A few like mock danish or induction legal ice cream are a few that i liked when i was just starting. I found out that over time that i didn't 'need' them as much anymore and really don't crave them either.
and whatever you do, stay away from the franken foods like atkins bars and shakes!
    good luck to you!

Try the Mock Danish!! It is so good!! The Ziplock Icecream is so darn good!!! My kids love to eat it, and shaking the bag is a good mini-workout. I did find that when I make the icecream, double bag the one with the cream in it. Sometimes the sharp edges of the icecubes with puncture the bag and you get salty icecream (happened to me once, yuck!!).
Good for you on sticking to this WOL. I think that you are supposed to stay away from the Jello unless it is made from Splenda. I tried to stay away from sweets on Induction, but in cases of Emergency the Mock Danish saved me!!!
Good luck, and please keep us posted on your progress.
What would we do without it?

      Mini-goal- 149 by June 1st. I can do it!!!

          this diet is killin me

Atkins is not a diet. It is a permanent lifestyle that will allow your body to do what it was meant to do - give you energy and burn your extra fat stores.

          Attitude is everything.

It is important to speak kindly to ourselves and be as positive as possible.

          How about this:
"This wonderful ATKINS way of life is nourishing me and helping me love myself as completely as possible!"

i didnt have time to really dwell on not gettin food.

We aren't doing Atkins if we are not getting food. We can be full all the time on Atkins. Being full all the time is how we maintain satisfaction and develop the skills to stay low carbers for life.

It is improtant for our mental satisfaction on Atkins to eat everything we are supposed to eat. You stated that you aren't eating your veggies. This is a surefire way to sabatoge your success.

We eat 3 cups of veggies daily on induction.

This is one program where you can't cut corners or fake your way through it. Please make sure you have a copy of the 2002 DANDR and read all the stickys at the top of this forum.

Never, never, never go hungry. Please stock your kitchen with the appropriate food so that you can complete a proper induction. Good luck to you!

Nah not even. I aint starvin myself. (Please, that will never happen. love food to much)Im sayin for dinner i had no more veggies in my fridge. SO i ate what i had and what "fits".
and i said i wasnt dwellin on food Becuase when im bored i eat. So havin myself preoccupied i dont eat stuff i don tneed to eat.

Diet ....lifestyle....i know. Just bad choice of words i guess.
