I was wondering what sort of ingredients I should look out for in my supplements and how many carbs I should count them as? I'm currently taking a multivitamin, vitamin B-12, calcium, and psyllium seed husk. (only once a day each) I have been eating around 5 carbs under my allowed 20 in order to compensate for any extra ingredients in them. Seeing as I love eggs and chicken that hasn't been hard.
But I just made a pretty shocking discovery...My favorite sugar-free drink has secret carbs. I was almost positive that it had none, but I guess I should have looked closer.
It's not that big a deal since I have switched to mostly water anyway so I haven't been drinking quite as much as I used to.
But, but, but! Now I really need to know what I should count my vitamins as and if there are specific ingredients found in supplements that I should watch out for?. I was hoping people with a better understanding of those Ingredients labels could help me out...
