  • Back Again Need HELP!

    Hello everyone ,
    Well I went off Induction twice in the past 2 weeks due to the fact I feel I have been working sooo hard and not losing weight I lost 3lbs and 3 inches of my waist.. I go to the gym 6 days a week for 3o mins a day because I have bad anxiety and paniac attacks so im trying my best with excercise But anyway I wasnt even in ketosis into my 4th day this is what my Inductions foods consist of that I eat:
    ceasar salad with grilled chicken
    eggs
    coldcuts rolled
    pickels
    mayo
    steak
    chicken
    bacon
    taylor ham
    mustard
    cheese
    diet soda
    tuna fish
    and lots and lots of water
    I done this about a month and a half ago and lost 10 lbs in the 1st 14days any feedback or inspiration will help me I am on a mission Im back on it but feel like i wasted time going off it yesterday becaus I was sooo Pissed at myslef I feel so fat today and I didnt gain anything back But I am trying so hard and doing my best If Im not eating enough or the wrong foods plz let me know thanks !

    Good for you for deciding to get straight back on!!

    Though you said you were off induction over the last 2 weeks you still lost weight and inches, so something was working for you!!

    So keep on eating from the allowed list and exercising and it will happen for you I am sure.

    I read that when you did induction 6 weeks ago you lost 10 pounds in your first 14 days, and 3 in the last 2 weeks, so that means you have lost 13 pounds since you started which is nothing to be sneezed at!

    Your list of the kind of foods you are eating seems fine but really for anyone to give advice on your menus we will need to know quantities and see when you ate what (like for breakfast/lunch/dinner and any snacks.)

    We have a special forum where people are encouraged to post their daily menus with quantities of everything called the 'Review my Menu' forum, so why not pop over there and read the first couple of threads explaining how to ask for help there and list a few days meals to see if anyone cna spot any 'illegal' foods hiding!

    I didnt notice much in the way of vegetables mentioned (just caesar salad) - you are eating your daily 3 cups I hope?

      Where are your veggies? Have a veggie instead of rolled cold cuts for snack..or have half of the amount of cold cuts if they are 'safe' <lots of sodium in those meats, ESPECIALLY if they are processed. Sugars are often found in the ingredients too..so watch out!> and half veggies. Keep veggies at EVERY meal. As Elizellen said, maybe you can post your breakfast lunch and dinner over at the review my menu area so you can get more help with the foods. Hehehe and I just saw her comment about veggies too..but I'm not gonna erase all I wrote NOW LOL!!!

        Don't be discouraged. Just remember that each time you go off plan and back on, you have a good chance at having a harder time losing those same pounds. Try to think of that when it gets tough - nobody wants to have to lose the same pounds again!

          Hey guys ,
          The only veggies I eat are brocc , I do eat some tomatoes I eat enough lettuce BUT I thought u couldnt have veggies like that on Induction ! I guess I was wrong. Well I have good news today is my 2nd day On and I am in the purple ketosis so I guess Im doing something right now LOL I have been going to the gym the past 4 days But I will not go on the scale yet to where I was going on everyday ! Thanks for all your input Its helped me .Also 1 more ? I take zanax alot lately like 2 x a day for my anxiety (Its bad or I wouldnt take it ) is that ok ????????

            Hi and welcome back. Don't be discouraged, but also don't set yourself up for not having the best results that you can. Do your Atkins right! Follow the rules of induction as written in the book. Eat those three cups of veggies from the list and measure! Watch for hidden sugars in cold cuts and ham. Read those labels and if there are ingredients listed that you shouldn't be eating, don't get them. That's fantastic that you're exercising. I think it's the key to lifelong success and health. Sorry, I have no idea about your meds.
