  • Thoughtless Action- I hope it won't derail my progress

Today is rounding off day 4, I'm feeling good, no cravings. I had a migraine last night, got through it. Today I had the encore tremor- I always get a small rebound in my right temple after a migraine. Without even thinking I took two excedrin pills. 165 mg of caffeine!!! I haven't had any caffeine in two weeks, and I've only had water since I started. i'm so annoyed. I realized it right after I swallowed. Is this going to hamper my induction greatly, or is it only a minor bump? I can't believe i did that. I just ate some tuna before that, but I feel all jittery now. I don't know if it's the caffeine or my annoyance. i've been working hard to stick to it and now I'm worried I made a big error.

It should not be a huge detriment, but do not use it as an excuse to further missteps, like restarting a daily pop habit. The caffiene got you back in the right state of mind and helped alleve the pain. The real danger with caffeine is low blood sugar, which might start a bout of cravings, so as long as you don't start munching because you "think" you are hungry, you should be good to go. There are certainly worse things that you could have done. I wouldn't worry about taking the caffiene Excedrin.

And now that the pain is gone, you can get back to the real job of losing. Perhaps the extra energy could best be spent working out.

i'm probably going to try to get to bed soon, i have to be at my new apartment t 8 am for the movers. i was going to have an egg or some cheese to get rid of the jitters, definitely no sugar though. I don't have any around, I threw it all away before I started, lol. i was afraid I wouldn't trust myself. I ate well today, I actually am a little low on protein for my daily intake, so an egg might do me some good. I'm so determined to to this, I won't let dumb old exedrin mess me up.

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
