  • Two Week Results, and Advice Needed!

I pleased to report that I lost another pound during my second week, bringing me within two pounds of my goal.

I look to some sages of the boards for advice as to what to do now. I'm going to move onto OWL, but is there a way for me to transition to Pre-Maintenance, sine my weight loss is going to be very slow now?

The "slow" weight loss in OWL can be losing 4 pounds a week instead of 5. How "slowly" you lose is dependent on your metabolism and your CCLL.

In your case, you should move into OWL or even move into Pre-Maintenance, since you only have 2 pounds left.

your pounds should slow as you add the carbs back. the trouble with skipping OWL is basicaly they are the same just Premaintenance is 10 net carb addittions and OWL is 5 net carbs. since you haven't eatten the foods yet you don't know what your blood sugar reation to them will be and it is easier to regain control with only a 5 gram problemn then a 10 gram problem.

If you don't have any blood sugar issues with a food group you could add a larger amount of that group but with your small induction loss your OWL trip should have time to get you there. if you make it trouble free to rung 6 you might beable to just move it to pre at that time but again you need to learn how your body handles or doesn't handle foods in each food rung as you search for your CCLL
