  • Day 15 - My Results!

I made it through Induction! I was hoping to lose 3 more pounds than I did, but I can live with the results I got. I lost 7lbs, from 216 to 209! The first 6lbs fell right off during the first week but I was only able to lose 1lb more in the second. I'm not too worried that i'm stalling since i'm pretty young - I think my body is just in in shock that i've stopped eating junk. *L*

Along with the 7lbs i've lost a few inches. I'm most excited about losing 2in from my hips! My waist is stuck at 35in, but my hips are down to 44in. This is good because i'm feeling more proportionate. (I have an "hourglass figure".) I also lost almost 2in from my thighs. Yay!

Another huge improvement i've noticed is my stretch marks. I had angry red ones on my stomach before starting. Now they are mostly light pink or skin toned. I've been rubbing vitamin e oil on my arms every day and i've also seen a HUGE improvement in those marks. I do mean huge. My mom took a look at my shoulders and ran out to buy a bottle of vitamin e oil for herself.

From here i'm moving on to Extended Induction. The plan is to get down to 175 before moving on to OWL, but we'll see how i'm feeling around 185. My next mini-goal is 199lbs...Gotta get down below 200 and all.

Question before moving on: I've been doing about 15-30 minutes of cardio 6-7 days a week along with crunches 5 days and resistance bands 4 days. Is this enough exercise for someone my age (19) and weight? Because i'm concerned that it's not...Don't get me wrong, I get a good workout in, but what sort of workout should I be working towards?

Thanks everyone! See you all in Extended Induction!!!

Thanks, I will definitely check out the exercise forums!

I have no problem getting in 30 minutes of cardio when I have class because my bus stop is about a mile from my house and takes me about 15 minutes of walking each way. It's on the other days that I have a problem...I'm so out of shape, after about 15 minutes of my ski machine it i'm all red and feel like i'm gonna die. Though i'm trying to add a minute more each day until I get to thirty. I guess i'm going ok seeing as I started out only able to do 5 minutes high intensity, now I can do it three times as long! Hoping to make it past 20 next week on that thing.

how aboutr doing another 15 mion on the ski machine later in the day? We do the best we can based on our physical abilities and as we gwt in better shape we do more.

How about free exercise walking between classes? some crunches while you are sitting watching TV or waiting for somebody. I replaced my chair with a fitness ball and do free exercise while I wait for pages to load or watch TV.

I think you're doing amazing. If you are breaking a sweat...and feeling lighter, I don't think you need to force the exercise on yourself until you feel miserable. Sometimes, it's even fine in my opinion, to chill out and just eat right...at some point your body and mind kick in and say "let's get moving" and you WANT and crave to get out there and tone it up. So your daily walks...make them more brisk if you can...and get in some ab exercises...and you'll see the difference in no time.

            7 pounds is FANTASTIC!!!!

No room for disappointment here... You are amazing
