  • Physical nil v Mental brill

    Have been really off last couple of days on induction - have upped the water though I was already drinking more than 8 glasses a day - lower back, shoulders and legs aching and headaches, not hungry but still eating - just wondering if this is normal, whether I've got a bug or if its just me - am losing weight and have stuck to the diet since I made a few original errors - hurray! Is any one else suffering, is it normal and when will it go! Any support welcome!!!

    Hang in there. Welcome to the "induction flu" It will pass and you will feel GREAT in no time!!

        Yep, just Induction Flu. Drink as much water as you can, then drink another glass!! It really helps, and soaking in a hot bubble bath doesn't hurt either. I had it pretty bad, but once it passes you will feel great. Hang in there!
        What would we do without it?

            That is great, I'm glad you are getting over the 'flu'. Now your body will be rid of the nasty carbs and start burning fat for fuel!!
            What would we do without it?

              Glad you are feeling better, but if you are not hungry why are you still eatting? read your DANDR when you aren't hungry you should be eating a small snack if 6 hrs have passed since the last time you ate. feed your hugry not the meal time, room in your belly, carbs in your budget. that is one of the most important things to learn about doing Atkins don't eat unless you are hungry or the 6 hr rule impacts you.

                Ok - thanks have read book - have I got the right one - its orange - is there a more up to date one - either I'm not reading it right - preconcieved ideas and all that or there is a more updated version than mine. Let me know. Cheers.
