What about Beef Summer Sausage
Can you eat beef summer sausage like from hillshire farms during induction? And I am confused about the rules regarding the ranch dressing. Please help!

read your ingredients label ansd see if your sausage is legal or not. if the ingredients aren't on the chapter 11 induction lists then not legal.
Dr Atkins wrote special rules for salad dressings in DANDR chapter 11 too.
I'd suggest you reread your DR ATKINS NEW DIET REVOLUTION chapter 11by the book atkinseer

You WILL become an expert at rading ingredient lists! If it lists sugar, corn syrup, corn starch, frutose, and -ose, flour, etc., step away from it!
I'm not sure about summer sausage (which I used to love as a kid!), but read the label!
Regarding ranch dressing, again the ingredient list is your best bet. However, I've been using Kraft's low carb ranch dressing or making my own. I think there is a recipe on Linda's Low Carb website and maybe on this site as well.

Hillshire makes a "lite" sausage. I was wanting sausage so bad and finally found the "lite" version this weekend....theres no bad stuff in it!Female, 30

we have a printable walletsize card of the induction acceptable foods in the inductrion forum stickies so you can take it to the store with you or you can got to hillshire farms website and get the list of ingredients in the food you want to have and compare the two to see if it is sugar free, acceptable for induction only ingredients.by the book atkinseer
