  • I'm getting prepared !

    Ive got my shopping list, my fridge is bare and the cupboards are feelin' lonely! I'm ready to go, i'm stocking up on all the good stuff ready for tomorrow and I am really looking forward to it and so is my hubby. I cant wait to feel better in myself and have more energy!!!

    Good for you. When you go shopping, bring the Induction Acceptable Foods list with you. You might see something that isn't on your list that you might want to buy, like some kind of veggie that's on sale. Also, bring the list along when you go to a restaurant---saves alot of anguish if you can check the list.

      I too emptied my house of "naughty" foods!! It has really helped me the last few days!! I put my pj's on when I get in from work, so I cant just pop out to the shop!! - a bit like putting myself on house arrest - it helps me!! hehe!!! Plus I keep no money in my purse so I cant be tempted to buy anything when I'm out and about!! I have all my cash cards, but I'm not going to use one of them for a bar of chocolate - am i?????

        Im like you Jane, I try not to carry any etc cash because I just cant help myself if I do, I just gotta have that chocolate bar/cake etc. And I like to get my PJ's on and settle in for the night as it stops me going out.

        I have been known to go out late at night to Tesco and buy a load of junk because I feel desparate and when I get home and i start eating it, I feel disgusted with myself. I want get control of my impulsive nature when it comes to food. I just cant wait till tomorrow!

          Dooesnt it feel great?Just being able to grasp ahold of your life and pull through this time, and feel great to share it with people on here!I love it. We're here to ecourage you,so stay strong, stay motivated,and keep yoru head up.

            Jodidi. yes we sound very alike - I've been known to go to McDonalds in my pj's - a
            strawberry milkshake for me and chicken mcnuggets for the dog!! I dont know what I'd do if I ever had an accident!!! hehe!!!

                      That's what I did. I took a week, read the book (again!!!) ... cleared out the cupboards ... read the stickies and ... mentally prepared myself. I made a two lists ... one list is the things I hate about being heavy ... then, the other list is the one I'm going to write down the things I have changed and do NOT miss about being heavy. lol .. does that make sense?? Well ... when I see it and write on it, it makes sense. lol ...

                      Also, I have one skirt in particular which is TIGHT on me and that is the skirt I want to get into! So ... I tried it on on day 1 of induction. I made notes regarding where it was too tight, etc. And, on day 14, I'll try it on again and see if I made any progress physically! (I don't have a tape measure yet!) ... Hopefully, I'll at least feel some progress. I can tell by looking though in the mirror where things are "moving up and in" ... so ...

                      You'll be happy that you took time to empower yourself and give it a GOOD go from the beginning instead of just picking it up one day and going through it half-assed.

                      GOOD luck and .. YOU CAN DO IT!!!
