OK so I am in my second week of induction. (Yay!) My carbs each day usually hover around 10 to 12 mg. I am comfortable with this, no hunger, no dizziness. I am not even sure how I would add more carbs in and stick within the induction list of foods, the limits on dairy, cheese, and veggies. But I digress. My question is this: Last week I checked with the keto sticks whether I was actually in ketolysis and the stick came up at between a moderate (40) to large (80) range. Tonight when I checked it came up at between the small (15) to moderate (40) range. I haven't added in any carbs, and my exercise levels have been the same. The only difference is that I have gotten totally spastic about making sure that I am getting all my water in. (after having read it on here a million times. "Make sure you drink your water!!" I decided to make a concerted effort to do so!
) So. Would the extra water make the ketones less concentrated in my pee and make the readings lower? Or, for some reason, am I slipping out of ketolysis?
