It says 0 carbs for 1/4 teaspoon. Is it legal? how many carbs do you think it has on a HUGE steak? I tried to look it up on fitday, but didn't see it on it.

I'm going to go with yes it's legal but just to be safe count each quarter teaspoon as .5 or 1 carb.

No idea about portioning, but you reminded me that I need to buy a bunch of their taco seasoning to liven up my ranch dressing. Woo hoo!

Just be aware that when a company lists things in 0.25 of a teaspoon...it's a way of not having to put that it's 2 carbs per teaspoon or something like that. So I believe the general Atkins rule is to count such things as 1 carb PER serving of that item. That way you're totally safe. Good luck!

I would still say technically "not legal" but moderate, reasonable, and counted use can't be too bad. As long as it doesn't make stuff TASTE sweet (causing other cravings) and throw you off course in the end if it makes choking down a steak more bearable (tough for me of us, hard to belive!) that's more important.

I might find a way to agree if it weren't pure sugar, and weren't the second ingredient on the list. Make your own seasoning with salt, paprika, onion powder and garlic!
