  • stomach flu

Okay I was doing great on my induction and now I have the stomach flu. I found myself eating a few saltine crackers and sipping on diet 7-up. I have totally blown it, but felt that I had no choice. Should I restart my induction when I am better. I am already down nine pounds as well. What do you all think. BTW the soda crackers and 7-up are all that I have had all day.

    Re: stomach flu

    Hope you feel better soon.

No fun to be sick, but we never need to use sickness as a reason to tamper with our Atkins.

Induction is hardly blown with a diet 7up.

In my opinion, crackers have no nutritional value and are difficult for the body to digest, and I'm not sure why they would be considered an appropriate food for stomach flu. But do feel free to disagree with me.

How about chicken broth instead of crackers?

Just stick with induction from your very next bite. Eat some real food asap - some healthy food even if you are sick and not hungry. Take care.

I dont think we have saltine crackers over here in UK, but why not make some flax crackers to nibble on instead?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
