Any ideas for things to make with horseradish that we can have? Heard about the wooshie pie and sorry to say my eyes cannot bring me to eat it. Are there other things we can do to include the horseradish and try for a wooshie?

Re: Horseradish
You can take mayo (real mayo, Miracle Whip has sugar in it), mix it with a little mustard and a little horseraddish to taste. I love horseraddish so I usually put more in, anyway I use it to dip steak and/or roast beef. Its so yummy!!!
Try the Whooshie Pie, it really is good!!
What would we do without it?

Re: Horseradish
I found a recipe for heavy cream, brown sugar (i used a little splenda brown sugar subsitute) and horseradish. I whipped a little up and took a taste...then I RAN TO THE SINK and guzzled a 32 oz. cup of water, oh I mean after I used my hand to get some in my mouth first. It was HORRIBLE! I have such sensitive taste buds anyway. Is there any possible way to make this edible by me??

Re: Horseradish
I believe you did Rockin, that does not sound too appealing at all. I use the horseradish the same way sunflower does mixing the mayo and horseradish together, I love the horseysauce from arby's. I spread this over scrambled eggs. Or you could mix it into your egg before cooking. My 11 year old will eat it right out of the bottle. Whew!

Re: Horseradish
Hubby likes to dip his roast beef in horseradish. I think that's yucky, but I LOVE the whooshie pie. I haven't tried it with a lowcarb ketchup, but it makes my mouth water just thinking of it.
Be brave....... try the whooshie pie. I bet you'll like it.

Re: Horseradish
If your body is going to woosh it will woosh with or without the pie. My recommendation is, with so many yummy things to eat on this woe, why would you eat something you don't like? You will just gross yourself out and get frustrated. Personally, I have gotten a bit used to horseradish now and sometimes I mix it into hamburgers or meatloaf along with my seasonings. Or mix it with mayo as Sunflowergrl says. I don't know that it makes anything special happen, but it's an extra seasoning since I can't use some of the condiments I used to use for meatloaf and such. But if you truly don't like it, why torture yourself? Drink lots of water and the woosh will happen. It's not gonna stay in there forever, right?Female, 46yrs, 5'3"

I agree. Why would you force yourself to eat something you don't like? Horseradish has a distinct and very strong taste and I don't think there's much you're going to do to mask that. Horseradish is not some 'magic' ingredient that will make or break your weight loss. I eat horseradish rarely, usually once in a while a little bit maybe with roast beef. In my weight loss i probably only had it once. And I reached goal (and i credit the woe not the horseradish).
