  • My Last day of Induction Weigh in!!!!! =) =)

I just couldn't wait until tomorrow to just weigh myself, so I did this morning........and.......
In the last two weeks I've lost exactly 20 pounds! 325 to 305!!! I'm so happy! I know I did well, but I still wish I could see more results, clothes-wise etc.....but I suppose when you're that heavy, it takes a lot more than 20 pounds to make a physical difference. But I'm still just happy I lost. I hope I can keep it up!!!

Thank you so much guys! Is that really a large amount to lose in two weeks? Maybe my body is as fed up as me and ready to get rid of the weight too. Well and I've been trying to exercise too - on my elliptical machine (although I can still only do a couple minutes at a time...but I keep going back to it once I catch my breath) and I got some of those exercise bands that you can attach to your door...etc... to do some muscle toning.
Ya know one thing that really kept me going all along the two weeks? When I posted my first post on the board a couple weeks ago when I started, someone said "You'll never be 325 lbs again!" and that - as goofy as it sounds, made me tear up and realize that I DON'T have to be there again and everytime I felt bad I'd repeat that to myself and get up and do something.

20 pounds in two weeks in amazing!! You ROCK!!! It took me 7 weeks to lose that much, if that gives you an idea how great you did!! Don't look back, just keep focused on the fact that you are worth it, and being healthy and thin is the best possible gift you could give yourself!!! I am so happy for you!!
What would we do without it?

Jen, that's awesome! You are doing a great job. People with more to lose always lose heaps of weight in the beginning. Keep it up girl. Now, just one little word to the wise...you might see a pause in your weight loss during weeks 3 & 4...some people do. DO NOT PANIC! It's just your body adjusting to the changes you've made and you'll start losing again. Just keep up with it.

Wonderful, wonderful. You know you can keep it up. Just stay close to the ADBB, and don't hesitate to ask for support where and when you need it.

That is SO fantastic! Just think, 20 pounds gone forever! Go grab a 20 pound bag of potatoes and carry that around for a few minutes. It's a lot of weight. Congratulations on exercising too.

Thank you all again! I felt really good last night because I told my dad I'd lost that much and he just seemed so happy for me....It made me feel really good. Having some encouragement is helping me out a lot I think!!
