I started Atkins on Saturday. I was doing so good and was being so strong and then today
I cheated. I am so mad at myself, but I think this will help me in the future. I will remember this moment next time I think about having those bad foods. I have been slacking on my water and exercise these past 2 days. I am going to get back on track and commit to 2 weeks induction focused and cheat free!

Week 1 (6/21-6/27)
1. Drink at least 1 gallon plain water daily
2. Try at least 3 new recipes (this will be tough-I always prepare things the same-this will encourage me to try things differently and include foods that are different for me)
3. Try at least 5 new foods on acceptable foods list (this will also be tough being that I only have a set food list of about 10 things I eat)
4. Begin exercising by walking everyday.

Make it a learing experience at least you learned something and so you can start out fresh and make this time the Big bang and get to your Goals. Good for you for realizing what you did and hpping back on when you stop trying that;'s when you admit failure Just keep going till you get there adn you will.

It is so worth it!! I did a clean 2 week Induction and lost 14 pounds!! Its worth it, and so are you!! Believe in yourself, we do!!! Just keep telling yourself that nothing (and I mean nothing) tastes as good as thin feels. If you eat a cookie like I used to, it only lasts a couple of minutes, and that isn't worth it!! You will do it, and I can't wait to see how much you lose at the end of your 2 weeks!!
What would we do without it?

Hey you were accountable for it. You talked about it at the ADBB. Forgive, forget, and get back on induction with your next bite. You are strong enough.
Stay clean, and soon ketosis will take over and you won't need will power, eating the Atkins way is what you will desire naturally.

Good for you for getting back on.
The only thing that works for me the first month is simple, old bull-headed stubbornness! I had to say "NO THAT IS NOT GOING INTO MY MOUTH" every time I was exposed to something unsuitable for this way of eating. After the first month, it became habit. I know you can do it. Just refuse to eat carbage, like a little kid refuses to do chores or eat certain foods.
Worked like a charm for me!No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.
