  • I did it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I can't believe it ---- 14 lbs in 14 days!!!!!! I knew I would do better on the original Atkins plan. I think I'll stay on it another week if I continue to feel ok. I still haven't been able to start my exercise plan because my Dr. has been on vacation and I need the medical form signed before I can even join the health club. I'll just drink, drink my water in the meantime..

    Way to go! This site is so inspiring! I can't wait to get started Tues! Hope I can stick with induction like you did it's obviously worth it!

      Fantastic! Congrats on your weight loss! And great that you're going to join a health club. While waiting for your Doc's signature though, why not try upping your activity level some... extra walks, dancing, exercising at home, climbing stairs rather than taking the lift (sorry, elevator to you Americans!)... anything really. No time like the present!

                Thanks everyone, I know when I feel down or want to cheat I can come to all of ya'll and get the inspiration I need. Sally, I wish I could start exercising at home but I can't do so many things because of my arthritis, bad knee & hips. The health club I'm joining has a program for arthritis and asthma patients in a therapy pool so it's easy on breathing and joints.

                    Sorry to hear about your health issues Peachy; but it's great that you found a health club that has courses for arthritis and asthma patients. Diet and exercise can only benefit. All the best of luck to you in your journey towards better health!

                      Yayyyyyyyy Peachy! I have asthma also. I think exercising is hard at first, but as you exercise it builds up your lungs, and they get stronger and it will get easier to exercise. Drink tons of water, it helps with your breathing also!
