  • Migraines??

I keep trying to start atkins but have had some medical problems.but have gotten the go ahead from my Doctoe but I still have a few worries, that maybe someone can help me with. I don't eat alot of meat on a regular basis and I consume quite a bit of acaffiene during the day. My questions is I suffer from Migraines and I know I am going to go through some withdrawls, however I have 3 kids and am an Office manager for a doctor, I can't afford to feel "awful" for 3 days. Is there anything I can do to help with this.

also I am very picky at what I eat, I would love for someone to create a menu for me If I could give a list of what I would eat!! I would oh so grateful!! I am horrible at that and I only want to get on Atkins and stay on it, not try it!!! I am ready to make a grocery list and get started!!!

I also suffer from reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome so I can't exercise much without my leg killing me. So any ideas on this would help too!!!

    Thanks in advance!!

    Re: Migraines??

I suffer from migraines and was a huge caffeine person. Two weeks before I went into induction, i weaned myself off caffeine. i cut out soda, then tea and finally coffee. By the time i started induction I wasn't drinking any caffeinated products. I still got a little yucky around the third day, but i think it would have been much worse had i gone cold turkey.

      Re: Migraines??

I also suffer from migraines, and when starting this WOE and told about the "induction flu" i was very scared of how bad they would become... what i did is start on a saturday morning, that way i was able to stay at home where im most comfortable and if i needed to, sleep it off. Now I dont have any kids, but maybe you could find someone to help you our for just the weekend? Either way....the induction flu plus already suffering from migraines....its going to be bad and it was for me. But the way you feel after is so much better than you could ever dream of and you will thank yours big time!
