  • The packets of Ken's ranch dressing...

...that come with a Burger King chicken salad...are they considered Induction-safe?

The book says prepared salad dressings are okay if they don't have more than 2 T carbs per serving and no added sugars. This packet has only 2 carbs, but sugar is on the ingredient list. Does that mean it's considered "added" sugar?

Another thing to consider is to make sure that the packet is only l serving, some come as 2 or 3 servings which would definately up your carbs using the whole pack.

Forgot to mention - the nutrition info was for one packet/one serving.

With things like ranch dressing, or any dressing for that matter, they are mostly going to have some added sugar. The key is picking ones that have no more than 2 grams of carbs per 2 tbsp. Those packets should be fine, especially since ranch "usually" doesn't have a LOT of sugar added, it's not what you would think of as a sweet salad dressing, like for instance, Catalina, which has 8 carbs for 2 tbsp and 7 grams of sugar in that 2 tbsp!
