  • A quick question

    Hi this is my first post in this section. My name is Scooter. I've been on induction going on two weeks, everything is going rather well.

    I definately think I overate last night.

    My carb intake for the day was like only 15, but.....

    I made a marinade out of 6 tablespoons of soy sauce (No sugar in it), 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, a splash of liquid smoke, and a pinch of chili powder (no sugar). I then put in 8 chicken medium chicken thighs. In the frig all day.

    I did my 2.60 miles walk last night. I was starving when I got home.

    I had 1 1/2 cups of lettuce, 1.5 oz of cheese, cut up a hard boiled egg, and 4 Tablespoons of dressing (homemade, olive oil, vinegar, water, italian seasoning).

    I ate 3 of thighs! Is that bad? I counted the carbs like this...

    2 T of soy sauce, 1 clove garlic, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice....

    That most likely was higher than it should have been, because I still had a bunch of marinade left that I threw out.....

    Thoughts or suggestions?

    I plan on doing extended induction....oh yeah...I'm drinking like 220 oz of water each day....I guess I'm getting used to that, but the chicken was soooooooooooooo good.

    Please tell me that I didn't cheat!!! Or please tell me if I did!!!!

    two things first next time you are starved after exercise drink some water and see if maybe you are thristy as the control centers are side by side in the braoin and spill over occurs.

    next if it took that much food to satisfy your hunger at that meal then that is fine. we eat to satisfy hunger and stop even if we have carbs in the budget, food on the plate or room in our belly. IF you ate it all mearly cause it tasted good then you over ate and cheated.

      I don't think so at all; if you have to eat half a chick, just make sure you have enough fat in the rest of the regimen. (Like, did you eat the skin like you're supposed to?)
