Walk it off (literally). Don't let it invade your mind and blind you from the progress you have made. We all mess up sometimes. I have messed up several times, but I still lose weight because I immediately get back on track.

As the others have said - get straight back onto your planned eating regime and carry on with determination!!

Try to organise some legal food that you will enjoy to stop you falling back into the cookie habit!!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

I had sinusitis really bad and then bronchitis and then strep throat about 6 weeks ago then I was back to the sinusitis and bronchitis. Let's just say that the wagon was not my friend although I didn't go hog wild either. Looking back, I realise that after my choices when I was sick, I allowed myself to continue to excuse those choices after I was feeling better. Even I got sick of hearing myself say 'tomorrow...tomorrow' because tomorrow was just another day that I was not losing weight and was eating all the wrong things again.

You have got to take stock of your situation and how bad you want to be the thinner you that you deserve to be. Get each clean day under your belt one at a time any way you can. By day three or four you should start to see some results...less bloating, less cravings, maybe down a pound or two. Those results will help you gain momentum. Only you can stop putting that food in your body!

Don't worry about it. I, too, had a little fumble last week, but I decided to pick myself right up and get back on the horse. You've lost 25 lbs. so far and you ought to be proud of yourself!

                Re: I Cheated!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure how toast and cookies is medicine for sickness.

Re-think what triggered your episode. I know for myself, I used sickness as an excuse to allow myself a pity party. however pity parties never led me to empowering behavior.

only firm adherence to a cheat free atkins lifestyle empowered me.

now I don't use sickness as an excuse
to cheat anymore. and i'm rarely sick.

If you feel you are being denied a treat, its time to come up with some Atkins safe alternatives.

                    Hey Sweet,

Well speaking from personal experience and a very bruised bum from falling off the wagon, you need to put it behind you and not repeat the same mistake. Next time you get an urge to cheat, either drink a glass of water or go and do something to take your mind off food.

Someone told me that a craving only lasts for twenty minutes and then it goes, so if you can go and do something else to distract you from that craving that should make a difference.

Let me know if it works.

I find that plucking my eyebrows or putting my fake tan on lol does it for me and stops me eating when I shouldn't be.

dont beat yourself up too bad for the cheat we all mess up from time to time, there is no such thing as the perfect diet, like the other people said just get back on the wagon, to help me keep from cheating I cut out a few fitness models photos and taped them to my bathroom mirror and one on my fridge, and just ask yourself everytime you think of cheating, will eating this help me get closer to my goal? or will it take me further from my goal?,nothing tastes as good as being in the greatest shape of your life, "its just food" you control it- it does not control you"!.
