Here is a pic of the bowl(s) I use. For the Danish in the picture I used the white bowl. I usually do the "buns" in the blue bowl. I have no idea why!? LOL.

Here they are inside each other to give you a size idea?

          Re: 2big -- Mock Danish??

I bought a huge coffee cup today for this (couldnt find a dish at the store quiet the size), and its killing me that I can't view the recipe . It looks fantastic Barb, and totally what I need while Flo is in town! Im a bit confused about the adding part, I have the orig recipe I think (mine looks like an egg soufle) and was just curiouse as to if the extra stuff included the frosting or if that was seperate. Also, about how long do you nuke it for? The one I have is about 2 minutes. The flax looks like it gives it way more "breading" texture. Thanks for sharing, my 1y loves the orig and im starting to enjoy it myself. Im thinking... my own little Danish err b-day cake as a treat . Thanks for sharing!

Sashie just mix the cream cheese, cinnamon, splenda first (and I think I used 1/4t vanilla) and set a little bit of that aside for your "frosting" after. Then add your egg and flax. And I do nuke it for 2 minutes, but that can vary depending on your microwave.

                    Re: 2big -- Mock Danish??

I made the mock danish with Splenda and cinnamon last night and it was delicious! I ate it warm. Mine didn't look exactly like the picture posted in the first comment, but it was close enough. I used a medium sized mixing bowl to mix and to microwave. Yum!

                      1. Soften three oz. of cream cheese (most packages are 8 oz.) in the microwave (about 45 sec. - 1 min.)
                      2. Stir in one egg until smooth (add flax if you fancy - I didn't fancy so I left it out)
                      3. Add Splenda and other flavors (I used lots of cinnamon).
                      4. Put back into the microwave for a minute or more (I put mine on 1 min. and 45 sec.)
                      5. Voila! You can eat it warm or put it in the fridge and eat chilled.

                        Re: 2big -- Mock Danish??

you don't need 3 ounces of cream cheese to make this you can use less if you want.

If you are going to use flax you will get the best results if you add it to the softened cream cheese, sweetner, flavoring mix before you add the egg but after you "saved" the amount you want for icing.
add the mixed up egg and nuke.
