Confused about diet soda

Hi all. I thought I read somewhere that we can only have two diet sodas a day. But I'm confused about that. I see that the Atkins rules tell you to watch the carbs in the diet soda but I don't see in the rules that I have that you are only allowed two a day. So I'm not sure where I read that. I'm looking at my diet rite soda right now and it has no carbs at all. Am I allowed to have more than two diet rite each day while I'm in induction? I don't have any sugar cravings...I just like the diet rite.

In induction rules you are only allowed 3 sweetners per day. When you are drinking the diet sodas you are taking them in there, so that is why we have to limit the diet sodas. And keep in mind they are to come on top of your daily water quota which is 64 oz. plus another 8 oz. for every 25 lbs. you have to lose.

Thank you. I hadn't read that we are only allowed three sweeteners a day. That's why I was/am confused by that. I mean it must be somewhere but I must have missed it. Do you know why we are only allowed three a day?

actually it is 3 servings not sodas a day as a can of soda has 1.5 servings in it so 2 cans which will use up your entire allotment.
