  • Fruit refreshers-induction friendly?

    Hey

I've tried this drink today. Of course I wouldn't drink it daily. It is cranberry flavored, calorie free, sugar free and caffeine free, they use liquid splenda (absolutely 0 carbs) oh and "contains no fruit juice".....what do you guys think? oh and its yummy!!! it comes in cherry lemonade too!! I think we have a winner!!!!

Just remember you are limited to 3 servings of artificial sweetener daily. So whatever the bottle lists as a serving of the beverage should be counted as 1 serving of artificial sweetener.

Also, this beverage doesn't count towards your minimum daily water requirement of 64 ounces of water (tap, bottled, mineral or filtered).

Sounds good! not2late's got it right on limiting your sweetners! You should also try to starve your sweet tooth as much as possible so it doesn't mess up your efforts later when a peice of cake is sat in front of you and it takes over =P. Induction is for getting rid of bad habbits, so if sweets are a problem for you, starve that sweet tooth to death early on!

I'm confused with ounces. How many water bottles of water do we need to drink (500mL) ones?

A liter is a little less than 34 ounces (33.8 ounces and change), so I'd count 500 mL as about 16 ounces to be safe (I err on the side of caution; better to hydrate a little more than a little less). So your minimum water intake (64 ounces) would be about 2 liters, or 4 bottles of 500 mL apiece.
No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

Check the list of ingredients just to make sure there is nothing induction-illegal in it.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
