What kinds of things do you like? There's all kinds of ways to be creative and still remain cheat free on induction. Don't be afraid to try new things. If they're posted here as good, I've generally found them to be good. If people say they're yucky, they're probably yucky.
June Goals
1. Continue with water
2. Use bike more (3x per week would be nice).
3. Continue with videos.
4. Go to the YMCA for water classes.
5. Build stamina for more walking.
Goals for May:
1. Water every day - at least 100 oz.
2. Walk through Wal Mart instead of ride.
3. Post every day.
4. Get the exercise bike out of basement and use it!
5. Re-read DANDR! It's been too long.
Plan plan plan. I love mixing my salad and other veggies up in smaller increments to add variety to my foods, like 1/4 broc to eggs, or 1/4 mushrooms chopped up in my burger. I love trying new cheeses or fancy cheeses. GL on your journey to better health!
Atkins is hard when you start off, but it does get easier once you know how to do it. Do check out the recipe forums. There is a lot of variety there!
Also, when you're feeling discouraged, come on the board and read everything you can. That usually makes me feel better by reading what others are going through, seeing their pictures, etc. It also helps sometimes to post your frustrations and get some feedback.
Good luck to you. You CAN do this!

How we talk to ourself is so important. Only affirm the positive.
Try this out:
"Its going to be easy and I'm excited!"
What you believe is what you make true for you.
Here is my truth. Atkins isn't hard. Its easy. There isn't anything scary about allowing your body to do what it was always meant to do. Eat healthy food in liberal portions and burn fat.
I'll tell you what is hard. Watching your weight climb higher and higher years after year, being a victim to the junk food aisle, starving and binging and suffering from low esteem because
you are out of control and you know it and won't stop it.
Give induction your full attention and committment. Its a golden key to success
and a healthier relationship with yourself.
Suffering is necessary until you realize it is unnecessary. Eckhart Tolle

I have been on induction and am not at all bored. I find it easier that fighting myself with hunger and wanting to contstantly eat.
I have been eating delicious salads with my food on top of it rather than having my salads on the side. I love to mix mayo with low carb ketchup or mustard to make different salad dressings. I made chicken wings with hot sauce and parmesan cheese in a frying pan and loved it so much, I made the same recipe again today with chicken thighs on a bed of lettuce with spicy pepper jack cheese chunks in it. I plan to have a tri-salad for dinner with small scoops of shrimp, egg and tuna salad made with mayo and some celery and scallions on a bed of spinach/arugula bagged salad. I am not hungry yet so I can wait, but I am looking forward to it. I am going to check out the recipe section too.
