READ the book if you haven't, and keep it hand if you have. Post as often as you can, and rely on friends and family for support. I'm here for my second go-round, and having a support system would have been a great help if I'd used the resource. We're all here for eachother! Best of luck!

Plan ahead for menus
Pick an exercise you like....and do it daily!
Drink you 8 glasses or more of water a day.
Keep a journal of what you're eating, doing, and not liking
Take your measurements down, the scale lies
I plan my menus on www.fitday.com. It's a great source of information, and really helps me stay on track.
June Goals
1. Continue with water
2. Use bike more (3x per week would be nice).
3. Continue with videos.
4. Go to the YMCA for water classes.
5. Build stamina for more walking.
Goals for May:
1. Water every day - at least 100 oz.
2. Walk through Wal Mart instead of ride.
3. Post every day.
4. Get the exercise bike out of basement and use it!
5. Re-read DANDR! It's been too long.

Make sure you have a copy of the 2002 DANDR.
Make a firm decision to stay away from the scale for two weeks and mean it. Put the scale away. Good luck!

26 yr 5'2 F Did Atkins on and off from Feb 2005 until April 2008. Fluctuated between 15 st 1/211lbs and 11 st 1/155lbs. On different weightloss programme from 28th May 2008 start weight 14 st 11/207lbs. Current weight 10st 3lbs/143lbs. Ultimate Goal Weight 9 st/126lbs.

Hehe...I love cooking but have never done any lo carb cooking apart from the Atkins cook book, now I nearly live off Chicken Cacciatore cos its so lush!! Its just the thought of cooking something that is usually high carb and cooking the lo carb version and not liking it and wasting food.
Its my bridesmaid's dress for my best mates wedding, went to Tobago! Altho it wont fit me when I reach my goal weight!
