  • Nearing the end

I'm almost through with my 2 week induction. I have until Tuesday and I've had a clean induction. Haven't had any horrible cravings I couldn't handle, haven't eaten anything not legal and so far I've dropped 16 pounds.

I have a small issue though. Is there any place on this board (or on the net) that lets you know how much 5 carbs are within the next rung of veggies? I have the carb counter in the back of Atkins book, but how do I figure out how much equals 5 grams?

Yes, Meena - go to the OWL forum and look at the 'power of 5' thread there.

There are several other useful and interesting ones to help you get started too!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

remember you can make 5 net carbs of any induction veggie by figuring out how many carbs per ounce it has and adjusting your serving up or down the USDA site is great for this as you can use an fraction of serving size http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/

I took a look at the site and I have to admit, it's pretty intimidating. I have no clue how to use it??
