  • 5 Days, 3 Pounds!

I am so excited! I have lost even though I drink a 5-oz glass of Merlot with red meat. There's hope for me yet!

Are you on induction? Alcohol is not allowed till you reach the alcohol level/rung of the second phase of Atkins.

You may not be aware that if you do decide to drink alcohol while trying to lose weight that your body will use that alcohol as a preferred fuel and delay any weightloss untill that is used up as well as the other foods you eat!

So by drinking you will probably be making your journey towards a slimmer figure a much longer one!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Yeah, I know no drinking. It is the only vice I have and it is difficult to give up especially when eating red meat... I counted on the weight loss taking more time--that is why I am so surprised by the 3 pounds in 5 days. Thank you very much for your support and advice. I am going to try harder to give it up.
