    Re: New to Atkins

I am officially off the induction portion of this WOE and I have lost 7 pounds. I am doing callanetics for toning and walk away the pounds and go to Bally's Fitness 3 x per week. I try to challenge myself daily. I have added more veggies to the plan like I am supposed to, and I am not feeling tired like I was at the beginning. Still have not got my energy boost, but I am sure it will hit me when I am least expecting it!

      Great going, K1112!!

Are you going to move on to the first OWL rung and start to add more veggie carbs or stick to induction eating for a while?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Great Job K! See? The flu goes away and you feel great. I feel so much better now. I used to feel so full and bloated any time I ate anything...now I feel good almost all the time! Way to hang in there and congrats on the loss.

                Re: New to Atkins

Just got back from vacationing near Austin, Texas. Had a few drinks and some sweets that threw me back a little bit, but I only regained a couple of pounds. Will go back on induction for a week and see what happens. Hope everyone had a great fourth!

                      that's great K!!

Have you progressed to OWL or are you still on induction?

People who do all 4 phases of Atkins seem to have better success in maintaining once they reach their goal weight.

                          Re: New to Atkins

Progressed to OWL. I notice it is getting easier to eat this way the longer that I am on this diet or WOE. I used to see WOE when people would post and I thought they meant woe like they were struggling by doing the diet, but then I learned it means way or eating. Doh! Atkins is the best!
